Six Craft Goals for 2026

I have never done a craft goals post before but it was inspired by the subject line of an email I got from a crafty company. It excited me and I was like yeah! I should totally write out some craft goals for 2026 so let's go!

I came up with 6 crafty goals for the year and might include a couple bonus ones at the end.

1. Keep using the 3D printer (at the library) and learn how to create my own 3D print cut files. Sadly the library is closed until towards the end of February but I will be back and cannot wait!

2. Pipe cleaner crafts. If you have not heard of this, check out my Pinterest board. Seriously, looks so fun and not too hard. I've been collecting pipe cleaners so I feel pretty set.

3. Use my Benty Cake molds. I got them in Oct 2025 and had hoped to have used them by now but it just hasn't happened. Yet. This year it will though!

4. Quilling. I've honestly only done this craft once, last summer. I enjoyed it and then bought all the supplies. But...haven't touched it again. Even though I've traveled with all the supplies to Idaho for both Thanksgiving and Christmas.

5. Camp Ritchie swag. The last few years I have made some cool Camp Ritchie 'merch' for the other adult staff. One year was car coasters. Another year was keychains. Last year was a cool one - mugs! I must figure out something else to make before camp which is the last week of July. And not save the project for the last minute!

6. Use my Cricut machine more often. Use materials I don't cut often. Use the print + cut feature. Make more stickers. Use my blanks - so many shirts. Hats.

Extra Ideas!

7. Make myself a bird mom shirt

8. Design wallpaper on Spoonflower's website

I have so many other ideas but don't want to get ahead of myself.  I have been planning crafts with friends and those are not even mentioned here. Stay tuned. I will be documenting my progress here and over on Instagram, if you want to give me a follow over there?

Let me know if you have craft goals to accomplish in 2026!

And while I'm at it...join me at Craftcation in Ventura, April 8-12.

I've attended a handful of times and it is such a blast. I've made some great down to earth friends, tried crafts I had never tried before and was able to let me crafty side shine. Plus the location is gold - right close to the beach - within walking distance!

Let me know what questions you have...I'd be happy to help answer them!
