I dont recall if I have heard of this activity in past years but this year I decided to pay attention and participate. Oh what fun! I was sent these items,along with a bunch of other bloggers, to decorate a popcorn box provided by World Market. We could use any of the decor that was sent as well as add our own to it.
I must credit my sister Allison for helping me come up with an idea. I had thought about doing an owl, my sister suggested a haunted house and I came up with a house of sorts...not too haunted but owls did show up. Hehe.
First I grabbed some black paint. It was easier to paint the box when it was flat. It did not take very long to dry even though I put it on a bit thick in order not to do a second coat.
Ta-da!
It was nice to just chill in the she-shed and work on this project. Easier with an idea for sure and I had fun digging through my craft drawers for the perfect embellishments to add to what I was given.
This is the finished product - one picture for each side..so much to see?
