Christmas / Disney Pinterest Party

Thrilled to be able to do another in-person Pinterest party. I kept the group small again and the theme, as you can see, was Disney crafts and Christmas crafts.  We ended up with 2 Disney crafts, 1 Christmas and pretty much all Disney themed food. So funny. Keep reading to see what we made and what we ate!

What we made!

We made these pretty Mickey ears ornaments with Model Magic by Crayola. I can't really find a pin on Pinterest for them but you know I will get it up there. We just rolled out skinny lines of color, twisted 2 to 3 different colors together and formed them in to the shape of Mickey's head. We created a hole in the top so they can be hung on a Christmas tree. I think they turned out pretty cool looking.

Disney glitter ornaments

I had the ornaments in my stash of Christmas craft supplies, the glitter I had on hand and I bought the image off of Etsy.

Felt cone trees

I used foam cones from Hobby Lobby under the felt which I had the felt on hand already. I used my Cricut Maker to cut the felt into leaf shapes and that worked out nicely. One of the ladies who came created the yellow stars for everyone out of the Model Magic. Perfect!

What we ate:

Copycat Mint Julep

Frozen themed Cheez-It's and string cheese

"Frozen" popcorn

Mickey Mouse Holiday Pretzel M&M's

Spice Cupcakes! So good! So soft and flavorful.

Mickey & Minnie Royal Icing Decorations

Wilton Mickey and the Roadster Racers icing decorations assorted

 Jack Jack Num Num Cookies

I got these tins from Joann's actually but also found them on Amazon. They were perfect for making the cookies since I was unable to find actual paper muffin type cups.

What was your favorite thing that we made or ate?

Stay tuned for another Pinterest party coming up in December hopefully and a virtual style Pinterest party possibly in 2021. Gonna give it a shot, keep it local and see how it goes.  Keep watching!
