Pinners Conference - Day 1 - Utah

I flew from S. Korea to Seattle, stayed a full day in Seattle then flew back to Salt Lake just in time for Pinners conference! Needless to say, this day was a struggle for me to stay awake and alert but I managed. My 8 year old niece came with me on Thursday (the first time Pinners has added a Thursday start date!) so come along to see what cool products we found as we shopped the booths.

Snap Conf 80's Party!

Even though we were all tired we got dressed up, some more than others..for an 80's theme prom night which was the second party at Snap that happened Friday night! Here are me, my roomie Amber, Hilary, non roomie Ashlee , non roomie Jennifer and roomie Amberly with our cute 80's themed headbands!

Eat Dessert First Party at Snap!

The best Snap opening party I've ever been to! This was my 3rd year attending Snap conference which is a blog conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. I got recruited by my friend Rhonda to help our friend Christie set up the party, work at it during and take everything down at the end. I'm so glad I said yes because it ended up being quite a fun experience. Keep reading for all the details!

Getting Crafty with Cricut

Craft Lake City hosted an event recently with Cricut that my friend Aimee and I decided to attend. It took a bit to find the right location but once we arrived we were able to get our craft on. The project was making a recipe box and cards with the Cricut machine.

Here is the Cricut in action, cutting the paper I had chosen for my recipe box

Nathan from Cricut working in Cricut Craft Room. He is probably adding owls to my recipe cards. Hehe

Here are some of the recipe cards on the left and on the right is a piece of the recipe box.

Here are the completed boxes! Mine is on the left and Aimee's is on the right. It was a little tricky at first to figure out how to fold them right to make a box but we had some good people helping us and it didnt take us too long to put together. All in all a really fun project and I cant wait to write some recipes on my cards.

What have you made on your Cricut machine lately or what would you make if you had one?
