California Christmas Pinterest Party

Christmas Theme Pinterest party time! Woohoo! Only a few people were able to come but we had such a fun time making some really cool crafts!

We pulled ideas from a Pinterest board I created, here

Decorations and some of the food. Shirley Temple drink in the dispenser and peppermint Oreos to try

Not a great picture but here is the cranberry fluff salad.
Tasted so good!

White Hot Chocolate (link for inspiration) flavored with Peppermint for the other drink. Heather brought this and it tasted so good, especially with some marshmallows on top! The vanilla did not get added in but it was still really yummy without that ingredient.

Wendy brought cornbread muffins - yum! and a veggie tray.
Always great to have some savory to balance out the sweet.

On to the crafts!

I prepped these boards for one of the crafts (<< Inspiration there) the day before and the morning of the day of the party.
That helped the process go a little faster since the boards were already stained and the vinyl was already cut.

This is how they turned out! Mine is on the left, Heather's is in the middle and Wendy's is on the right. She used the extreme glitter Mod Podge from Plaid Crafts to seal her board. It looked so pretty when it dried!

Ordered these thick cardboard snowflakes and we used sequins, beads and paint to decorate them.

Keep the cardboard look for a more rustic feel or paint the snowflakes white to blend in any gaps of sequins or beads. I think these turned out pretty cute!

And...I'm dying over how adorable these button Christmas trees
(inspiration here) turned out.

Thank you Amazon for the hundreds of red white and green buttons for a great price that came a couple days before the party. I found the gold star buttons at Joanns.

This would make a fun neighbor gift too!
